Dean Albritton undergoing knee replacement surgery

On Monday, 19 July 2010, at 7:30 a.m., Dean Albritton will undergo knee replacement surgery at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL. She is definitely looking forward to increased mobility with this surgery. Dean is the wife of Walter Albritton, Jr. who is the son of Walter and Caroline Johnson Albritton (Uncle Walter and Aunt Caroline).

Jackson Hospital is located at 1725 Pine St., Montgomery, AL 36106. Here is the
map. Of course, we don’t know what room Dean will be in, but you can contact her by calling the hospital at (334) 293-8000.

Dean asks that we all keep her in your thoughts and prayers. We certainly will, Dean! And we’re wishing you a very speedy recovery

UPDATE 22 July 2010
Dean got through the knee replacement surgery on Monday, 19 July 2010, just fine! We received the following message from Walter (sent to Uncle Wylie) on Tuesday, 20 July 2010:

Dean's recovery appears to be going as expected. Today, second day, was a rough day. Much pain made it a very difficult day for her. Hopefully a better day tomorrow. We thank you for your prayers for her.

We continue to pray for a rapid recovery, Dean!

UPDATE 23 July 2010
Great news in a new message from Walter to Uncle Wylie!

Your prayers are being answered for Dean! She had three tough days but came through fine and today I took her to Rehab First on Hull Street. She will have therapy all day and be there from 7 to 10 days. We both feel very good about this plan. She is ready to do the rehab work and move on! Please thank everyone for their love, support, and especially their prayers!

How wonderful!!
